Mahajabin Sahib Patil Mobarker
Age: 21

She suffers from post polio paralysis that has affected both her lower limbs as a child. This did not stop her from achieving her goal --- to be a doctor.

Yes! Muhajabin is a fourth semester medical student in the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli.

She stays in the hostel with her mother who helps her in her chores. She was one of the wheelchair recipients from Equip India in 2007. The wheel chair has made a great difference in her life “I couldn't see the dissection earlier but with the wheel chair I move around comfortably and even watch the dissection at ease”.

Mahajabin wants to take up this profession to help people like her.
