Dedication and Anniversary Celebration

Equip India celebrated ten years of successful, fruitful service among people affected with disabilities and leprosy on the 26th May 2007.

The tenth anniversary celebrations took off with songs, skits and choreography by the youth affected with disabilities. Bro. R.Stanley, founder Blessing Youth Mission, inspired the crowd with a heart touching message. A fifteen minute video message by Joni Eareckson Tada was like an icing on the cake! This encouraged the team and the supporters of Equip India to carry on with the vision in the forth coming years.

On this same day, Equip India inaugurated its newly constructed centre at Bandiwad village, about 10 kms from Hubli city. More than 1000 people witnessed this event. Many in attendance were people affected with disabilities and their families, area pastors, NGO and Government officials, National and International guests.

Over the decade, Equip India has experienced various achievements in reaching out to the people affected with disabilities and leprosy. Not resting on its laurels it continues to proceed in faith to follow the call.
